Denarau Marina - Tivua Island

Ni sa Bula’ is the magical call of welcome as you board Reef Endeavour for your island adventure. Cruise to Tivua Island over a light lunch and safety briefing, to explore the coral gardens, clam farms and a medicine walk through the island before enjoying a South Pacific sunset on your first day at sea. Tonight join the Captain and his crew for the Gala Captain’s Dinner.

 

 
Tivua – Brothers Beach – Naviti Island

Start the day naturally with a morning swim & snorkel in an idyllic bay at Brothers Beach on Naviti Island. Savour the bounty of a gourmet buffet lunch as you journey to spectacular Naviti Island. Here is beauty in its original state where you can bask in aquamarine waters along white sandy beaches. Volleyball, snorkel, swim or explore the island. This evening join the festivities and entertainment of a Fijian Village at Gunu for a traditional Fijian Feast, Lovo and Cultural performance, Meke.

 
Yasawa Island - Sawa-i-lau

Discover the legendary grandeur of Sawa-i-lau and the famous limestone caves at your own pace. Swimming in the cave lagoon is a wondrous experience or you could explore it on an escorted kayak tour. Join the guided walk to the village school, meet the children and help them practice their English. There may even be a footy game. Snorkel over spectacular coral gardens, swim in fabled lagoons or test your fitness with a climb to the peak behind the school on Yasawa Island. Try your luck at crab racing tonight.

 
Sawa-i-lawu - Yaqeta - Drawaqa

Cruise the soaring volcanic peaks of the Yasawas and discover a myriad of fish in the coral reef and laze in the warm sands of Yaqeta. Cruise the spectacular channels to Drawaqa for amazing snorkelling this afternoon, you may even see a Manta-ray (seasonal). Experience the sunset over the beautiful Yasawa and enjoy a tropical dinner under the stars (weather permitting)

 
Port Denarau

After breakfast, Caledonia Sky sets sail and returns to Denarau Marina at 07:30am for a 09:00am disembarkation. between departures you can enjoy a choice of complimentary tours including the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, a tall ship adventure or mud pools on Tuesdays only before heading back aboard Reef Endeavour for your next island adventure. Welcome to Captain Cook Cruises’ private island of Tivua, surrounded by 500 acres of coral reef this is a great opportunity to practice your snorkeling skills straight off the beach. there is also a volleyball court, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards and the opportunity for a leisurely 10min walk around the island tonight join the captain and his crew for the Gala Captain’s Dinner.

 
Monuriki - Monu Bay

Reef Endeavour cruises to idyllic Monoriki where Tom Hanks’ Castaway was filmed. Snorkel a wonderful bommie in the morning or relax on Monu beach. In the afternoon, explore Monuriki’s natural film set on a guided kayak tour or from the beach before a special village choral service. The beautiful harmonies of the village choir will simply delight you. This evening join the entertainment of our Sunday Crew Show.

 
Sacred Islands - Waya Islands

The Sacred Island is a place beautiful beyond belief. Legends tell of the great war canoe `Rogoboka’ which landed here with the first Fijians. On arrival the ship’s crew pay tribute to the forefathers of Fijian culture and perform the Sevusevu (gift giving) ceremony. Spend a magical morning swimming in the aquamarine lagoons, snorkelling in spectacular coral gardens, beach combing or on a marine biologist led zodiac excursion. Over lunch cruise to the Southern Yasawa islands. Enclosed by towering volcanic peaks and palm fringed beaches, Waya Island is a tropical paradise. Visit a local school this afternoon and a village and shell market. The fit will also have a chance to climb to the peak of Waya for amazing views. Don your favourite island attire for Pacific Island night tonight!

Getting to your cruise:
Passengers are required to make their own way to the ship. On arrival in Fiji please visit or telephone one of our Fiji Offices to reconfirm your booking.

  • Port Denarau Marina – Cruise Counter: Daily 8am–9pm – Reservations Ph (679) 675 0504
  • Port Denarau Marina – Central Reservations & Administration Office: Daily 8am-5pm – Reservations Ph (679) 670 1823

Embarking Port Denarau:

  • All passengers are required to make their own way to Reef Endeavour at Port Denarau for check in by midday.
  • Port Denarau – Luggage check-in is available from 9am – 12 noon. Port Denarau has a wide range of retail outlets, bars and restaurants.

Disembarking Port Denarau – Midday Saturday and 9am Tuesdays unless otherwise advised.

Complimentary transfers are provided from the ship (Port Denarau) to hotels in Nadi, Denarau & Nadi Airport.

Taxis are readily available from Nadi Airport and most Nadi/Denarau hotels.

  • Airport to Port Denarau Marina – taxi approximately FJ$35 / 30 minutes
  • Nadi to Port Denarau Marina taxi approximately FJ$25/ 10 minutes

Captain Cook Cruises reserves the right to increase fares without prior notice.
Fully paid guests will be protected at their booked rate, except for fuel surcharges, government taxes or other surcharges.

The following information is required at check-in:

  • Photo identification for each passenger (driver’s license or passport)
  • Your Captain Cook Cruises confirmation number (located on your e-ticket)
  • Your credit card (as security against your onboard Cabin account)
  • You will then need to register by completing your Booking Form (if not already completed)
  • Captain Cook Cruises voyagers to remote islands. Once we leave the wharf the ship cannot obtain additional supplies or medicines.
  • Special requests or dietary requirements must be advised to your booking agent as early as possible. Upon boarding please consult with your Hospitality Manager.
  • Please also ensure you bring
    any prescription medication you may need.

Baggage:
Baggage is limited to what you can stow in your cabins, so you would be advised not to over pack. There is a storage area under each bunk. All bags must be clearly labeled with your name and cabin number. Bags have to be handled by crew and we would appreciate a weight limit of 20kg

Cash Free:
For your convenience we operate a cashless system. You may use your Cruise Account for onboard drinks and some optional shore excursions. Small denomination local currency is required for village markets, games and gratuities. Your Cruise Account must be settled at the Bar prior to disembarkation. Limited foreign currency, cash or credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard & Diners) will be accepted for payment of your account, however we advise personal cheques cannot be accepted.

Dietary Needs:
Passengers requiring special meals should advise the Company in writing at least two weeks prior to sailing and discuss with the purser on boarding. Most special diets can be catered for.

Dress Code:
During the day, sportswear and casual clothes are suggested. We kindly ask that you do not wear uncovered bathing suits or beach attire in public rooms and lounges, especially in the Dining Saloon. Footwear is requested in Lounges and is mandatory in the dining saloon due to Fiji Health regulations. During the evening smart casual wear is recommended – an open neck shirt and slacks for gentlemen and a dress, skirt and blouse or pants outfit for the ladies. The first night of each cruise is the Captain’s Welcome Dinner which is an opportunity for you to dress up should you choose. Be sure to bring a sun visor or hat, sunglasses (Polaroid) and good sun blocks on shore excursions. Sandals, lowheeled deck shoes and tennis shoes are most suitable on deck and for shore excursions. Please be aware there are some wet landings and most beaches are not groomed. Shoes that you can wear in the water are suggested. Fijians dress modestly and revealing clothing is not accepted in public places. Please cover your shoulders and knees (bula shirt & sulu are ideal) and remove headwear and sunglasses when visiting Fijian villages.

Snorkelling:
Fins, masks and snorkels will be issued for each cruise. Please return them to the Dive Master before disembarkation. Unreturned equipment will be charged to your Cabin account at F$100.

Wifi:
Wifi is available on Reef Endeavour and located in the Tabua Suites and the Yasawa Lounge. It is intermittent as it is accessed via the mobile phone network in Fiji. Our longer remote north itineraries can have less coverage. You can also purchase a data sim at Nadi Airport in the arrivals hall for your tablet or smart phone.

Dining is a vital ingredient in your Fijian cruise. Whether it is an alfresco luncheon, a casual BBQ or table d’hote dinner, our food is prepared on board from fresh local and imported produce and our on-board entertainment adds a special flavor to the mix. Breakfast 7.30am – 9.00am. Lunch 12noon or 12.30pm. Dinner reservations from 7pm to 8pm or as otherwise advised. There is one sitting for meals. Table seating is assigned by the Hospitality Manager for most evening Dinners whilst Breakfast and Lunch are free seating. Please advise if you have any special requests.

FARES EXCLUDE: transfers to Port Denarau, beverages, optional tours, 5 Star PADI scuba diving, spa treatments & services.

Child Policy
Captain Cook Cruise:

  • Child age is 5 to 14 years inclusive.
  • All children must be under the supervision of an adult at all times to the satisfaction of the ship’s Master and must be able to swim unaided or be prepared to wear a flotation device on all tender
    transfers.
  • Child rates apply to children 5 – 14 years inclusive sharing with adults or in their own Stateroom.
  • Child minding is offered on board for children 7-9 years inclusive at the following times: 9.00am-12noon, 2.00pm -5.00pm, 6.00pm-9pm
  • Infants under 5 years are not accepted for this style of cruise.

Cancellation Charges
Please note, cancelled bookings will incur charges. Our travel service providers are entitled to impose cancellation charges, which can be up to 100% of the amount paid to them for the relevant service, regardless of whether travel has commenced. If any refunds are received from travel service providers, they will be passed on to you, less a minimum cancellation fee. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy on general terms & conditions.
